Terms of Service

By accessing or using English Era Studio ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have parental or guardian consent. By registering, you represent that all information you provide is accurate and complete.

• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• Notify us immediately at our contact form if you suspect unauthorised access.
• We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts that violate these terms.

Courses and bundles are sold individually. Prices are shown in US dollars on each product page and in the cart; any applicable taxes are calculated at checkout.

• Every purchase is a one-time payment. There is no subscription, and you will not be charged again.
• What you buy stays in your account: your courses open from My courses.
• Buying several courses in one order may lower the price of each, as shown in the cart before you pay.
• Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com, which is the Merchant of Record for all our orders and processes payments, taxes and refunds.
• You can get a full refund within 7 days of purchase. Contact our contact form to request a refund.
• We reserve the right to change prices at any time. Courses you have already bought are never affected — only new purchases are subject to the new price.

Lifetime access.When we say a course comes with lifetime access, we mean your purchase has no expiry date and no renewal: you pay once and the course stays in your account. "Lifetime" refers to the lifetime of the course on our platform, not to your own. It lasts for as long as English Era Studio operates the Platform and the course remains part of the catalogue.

What you get. Buying a course gives you its lessons — the texts, audio, images and exercises that make up that course. Practice, My Words, progress tracking, XP and streaks are features of the Platform that we offer alongside your courses. They are not part of what you buy, and we may change or withdraw them.

Changes to the catalogue. We improve and occasionally retire courses. If a course you own is retired, you keep access to it for at least 60 days after we tell you by email, and you can download its lessons via a download link we send you during that time.

If we stop operating. If we decide to close English Era Studio, we will email everyone who owns a course at least 60 days before we close. During that period your courses stay open and you can download the lessons of every course you own as PDF files, via a download link we send you, to keep. Features that depend on the Platform running — Practice, My Words, progress, streaks and audio playback — will stop working when the Platform closes. Purchases made in the 30 days before we announce the closure will be refunded in full on request. Earlier purchases will not be refunded: the access they paid for was supplied.

You agree not to:

• Share, resell, or redistribute paid course content without our written permission.
• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law.
• Attempt to access, modify, or interfere with the Platform's systems or data.
• Upload or transmit malicious code, spam, or harmful content.
• Impersonate another person or entity.
• Use automated tools to scrape or download content in bulk.

Your account may be used on a maximum of two (2) devices simultaneously. Accessing the Platform from more than two devices at the same time is not permitted. We reserve the right to terminate sessions or suspend accounts where this limit is exceeded.

Your access is personal and non-transferable. Sharing your account credentials with others to circumvent this limit is a violation of these terms.

The Platform's original content — course materials, text, audio and software — is owned by English Era Studio and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Some images are used under licence. Film, TV series, book and song titles, stills and clips belong to their respective owners and appear for educational commentary only; English Era Studio is not affiliated with or endorsed by them.

Purchasing access grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to access and use the content for your own educational purposes only. No content may be copied, redistributed, or used commercially without our express written consent.

If you submit content to the Platform (e.g. profile information or feedback), you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, store, and display that content as necessary to provide the service. You retain ownership of your content and may delete your account to remove it.

The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet your specific learning objectives. Language learning outcomes depend on your own effort and consistency.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, English Era Studio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for violations of these terms. You may terminate your account at any time from your profile settings or by contacting us. Sections 7, 9, 10, and 12 survive termination.

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which English Era Studio is registered. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
